Helen P. Dolland, JD. Esq.
My name is Helen Dolland, Esq. and I am the founder of my firm’s basic estate planning practice, where we focus on planning in preparation for life as well as death. We serve the elderly, individuals, families, college students, and members of our expatriate community.
I am a graduate of St. Thomas University School of Law, Miami, Class of 1995, JD (Dean’s List); Barry University, Miami, Class of 1992, BLS (Dean’s List); and Charles Stewart Mott Community College, Flint, MI Class of 1987, AAS (Honors). I am a member of the Florida Bar and the Bar’s Elder Law Section.
Prior to entering private practice, I served as an Assistant State Attorney in Florida, where I prosecuted hundreds of cases including high publicity cases. Following my retirement from the State Attorney’s Office, I served as Staff Attorney for Florida’s Guardian ad Litem Program where we advocated for the best interest of the children in the State’s Foster Care Program. In 2014, I joined the law firm of Greenspoon Marder, LLP where I represented the firm’s clients in Estate Planning, Probate and Guardianship Litigation.
During my years of service, I have volunteered for worthy causes such as Take Stock in Children Program, Office of the Guardian ad Litem, Member of the Minority Advisory Committee/City of Cape Coral, and Proctor for the Florida Bar’s Examination.
I am mother to four amazing children who are superior in their respective fields, five granddaughters who are poised to do great things, and a grand pup named Loki. In my spare time, you can find me reading books on world history and geography, strolling on a beach, or traveling to exotic destinations.
